HELIEX POWER GENSET STEAM EXPANDER GENERATORS
In the process industry, steam is the main heat source, typically produced in a power plant. Before feeding into the process, the pressure of the steam produced at the power plant is reduced to the desired pressure with a control valve, and at the same time the kinetic energy of the steam is dissipated with a pressure reduction valve.
As a result of the drop in pressure, the steam heats up, posing possible challenges for the continued use of steam, or in order to obtain saturated steam, you have to use separate desuperheaters.
Heliex Power designs and manufactures energy recovery devices, which harness the kinetic energy of steam for the utilization of electricity production.
With the GenSet steam turbine, the desired pressure of the process steam is set to the pressure desired by the operator, and the like energy generated in the expansion is harnessed for electricity production with a twin screw turbine. The GenSet turbine unit is fully automated, easy to install and commission.
