In 2018, CTI carried out its first major hammer mill project for Helen Energy at Salmisaari pulverised fuel plant in Helsinki.
The delivery included pellet feeding equipment, hammer mills, dust transfer, and filtration. The line capacity is 2 x 14 tonnes per hour.
Our part of the project lasted approximately 8 months, with installation, commissioning, and test runs accounting for about half of the total duration. The project team included project management, site supervision, and a 12-person installation crew.
As a sign of the trust built during this demanding project, we have since been entrusted with periodic maintenance of the line as well as numerous other assignments. Our expertise is valued, and we continue to support the customer in various technical challenges.
