Through our Reshape Energy approach, we reshape energy use intelligently: we utilise clean electricity for heat production and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. A key part of our solutions is electric boilers based on ACME’s electrode technology, which convert electricity into heat energy with near-total efficiency.

The heat generation in these boilers is based on the conductivity of water: the water acts as a resistor, and the alternating current passed through it heats the water with minimal loss.

CTI manages the entire project from design to installation and maintenance – in our turnkey deliveries, around 70% of the work is carried out by our own personnel. Our energy-efficient electric boilers offer stepless control and exceptional efficiency (over 99%), making them ideal for leveraging fluctuations in renewable energy and supporting grid balancing needs.

The boilers can be integrated into district heating systems, industrial steam production, and other process heat systems, while fully meeting stringent safety and emissions requirements.

Immersed-type steam and hot water boilers

In an Immersed-type electrode boiler, the electrodes are permanently submerged in water. The boiler generates heat rapidly when voltage is applied between the electrodes – the water acts as an electrical resistor and heats up almost instantly.

Jet-type steam boilers

The Jet-type electrode boiler is specifically designed for flexible steam production. In this system, water is pumped from the bottom of the boiler to a nozzle unit, from where it flows onto the electrodes.

Superheaters

We supply superheaters that are connected to electrode boilers, enabling steam temperature to be raised above the saturation point. This allows the production of dry, high-temperature steam, which is essential in industrial processes where steam energy density and heat value are critical.
